Fuljar soda recipe

Ingredients

1 lime
Ginger
Salt
Couscous
Mint leaves
Sugar syrup
Soda

Preparation

Squeeze the lime into a shot glass and add crushed ginger and bird eye chilies. Add salt as required and couscous as well. Mix the sugar syrup into it. Fill a huge glass with soda and immerse the shot glass containing the lemon mixture into it. Those who like the flavor of mint can add mint paste as well.

Regional variations

There can be regional variations to this concoction. Some people add neem leaves, cinnamon, honey and various squash items to color the drink as well as to add individual flavors. Part of the concoction is then transferred into a shot glass.

Masala soda recipe

Ingredients

• 3-4 cup Club Soda/Plain Soda
• ¼ cup Brown Sugar/Regular Sugar
• ¼ cup Fresh Mint Leaves
• 2 Lemon Juice
• 1 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder
• ¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder
• ¼ tsp Chaat Masala
• ½ tsp Black Salt
• 1 tbsp Grated Ginger
• 2-3 Pinch Salt
• Ice Cubes
• Some Mint Leaves for Garnishing
• Lemon Slices for Garnishing

Instructions

Take a blender jar, and add sugar, fresh mint leaves, lemon juice, cumin seeds powder, black pepper powder, chaat masala, black salt, salt, ginger and ¼ cup of water in it. Blend it well till all sugar dissolved and make smooth juice liquid. Now strain the mixture in to a small bowl. Take 2-3 serving glasses, pour the prepared mixture into the glasses. Add some mint leaves, lemon slice and crushed ice or ice cubes in it. Just before serving, pour the soda over it, garnish it with mint leaves, sprinkle some chaat masala, cumin seeds and serve chilled fresh.


Nimbu masala soda recipe

Ingredients

3-4 cup Club Soda/Plain Soda
¼ cup Brown Sugar/Regular Sugar
¼ cup Fresh Mint Leaves
2 Lemon Juice
1 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder
¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder
¼ tsp Chaat Masala
½ tsp Black Salt
1 tbsp Grated Ginger
2-3 Pinch Salt
Ice Cubes
Some Mint Leaves for Garnishing
Lemon Slices for Garnishing

Instructions

Kulukki sarbath recipe

Ingredients

2 cups chilled water
1/2 tsp basil seeds
1/2 lemon + a slice of lemon
1 small long green chilli slitted
1/4 tsp ginger chopped finely
few nos icecubes
For the sugar syrup:
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup sugar syrup

Instructions

Pick up and remove any husks or stones from the sabja seeds if any.Then take sabja seeds in a wide bowl. Add water.Soon it will start absorbing and growing in size.While pouring the water itself it starts to grow.After pouring water , let it aside for 10mins. See it is growing in size, the seeds will all become transparent jelly like coating will be formed.Strain and set aside. Add sugar to a pan, add water and let it to boil.When it is sticky and is slightly thick switch off and set aside.Now the simple sugar syrup is ready. Get all your ingredients ready.You need a shaker with lid.Now first add the simple sugar syrup to it. Then squeeze lemon to extract juice.Then add sabja seed and slitted green chilli. I didnt use the sabja seeds fully, remember this is just one serving am showing in the method. Add chopped ginger,a lemon slice. Finally add icecubes and water. Close with lid and shake rigourously for atleast 5 seconds. Now open and pour in serving glass and serve.
